The MDI Mexico (*) teaching staff is made up of an extensive roster of experts who work in the public sector, private sector and at the university itself and who lecture at one or more MDI campuses. Some are MDI alumni who now hold prominent positions at sector players.
Coordination among the lecturers is key to ensuring the iterative learning process and subsequent contact with them is one of the most valuable things you will take away from the learning experience provided by the MDI Mexico (*) Master of Real Estate.
(*) Accreditation of the Lifelong Learning Master’s Degree from UPM as the equivalent of a Master’s Degree - a Maestría - in Mexico will depend on the criteria followed by the local authorities at any given moment in time.

Erika Adaya Pérez is an urban planning lecturer and consultant. An architecture graduate with a master’s in urban planning from TEC de Monterrey, Erika has worked as director of urban planning and technical operations in the town of Huixquilucan and as advisor on planning and housing matters at SEDESOL and SEDATU. He has extensive experience designing air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems, in energy modelling for new buildings, as an energy auditor for existing buildings, in bioclimatic analysis, as a tendering/commissioning agent and as a sustainability advisor and has participated in the drafting of high-profile national and international regulations and policies. He teaches the MDI in ITAM and also lectures at UNAM. Darío has been a member of the management board of the World Green Building Council since 2019 and boasts LEED Fellow certification from GBCI Building Commissioning Professional certification from ASHRAE.

He teaches the MDI in ITAM and also lectures at UNAM. Darío has been a member of the management board of the World Green Building Council since 2019 and boasts LEED Fellow certification from GBCI Building Commissioning Professional certification from ASHRAE.
